Hee Chun was born and raised in Korea, and now resides in New York, working as a designer/visual artist. Since graduating from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Design, she has not only been working for such notable clients as Coca-Cola, ExxonMobil, Barbie, Delta Airlines, Avon, Kraft, Veet, Fanta, and DuPont, but she also feels it is important to explore and expand on her personal vision by working on her own projects.

Ms. Chun considers her creative ability to be a gift. Her passion and joy in art & design unabashedly comes through her work in rushes of colors; beautifully elaborate details that weave into an organic composition. The work resembles captured dream sequences and poetic story-telling, highlighting a unique ability to celebrate the traditional aspects of design, while re-interpreting them with a modern perspective. Her elegant and colorful textural work retains a strong sense of character and a fine art sensibility that have been shown in galleries, and have been included in many features and magazines, such as CMYK, Art Daily, Royal, and Metro Detroit among others.
