| What a dream to work on the Barbie house project. For the compelling facade of the House of Barbie, our team made countless sketches of different façades and they were mostly involved with pink and laces: pink glasses, a French couture house, cut-out chandelier plexiglass and lacy pattern wraps. It was labor of love that we had to come up with these brilliant ideas for making this a deliciously girly and chic Barbie house, shining on the Shanghai street. Even though I left before the completion, I was ecstatic when I found out that this store opened last March, with the lacy pattern facade which was created by another talented designer, Kapono Jung. I think he did a great job! |
